Caribbean Cuisine Fuels STEM Curiosity
Last Week, Jamaica’s York Castle High School visited Houston, Texas, to compete in the FTC World Robotics Championships. While in town, Golden Krust Kirby stepped in to generously give them a taste of home with a sampling of Caribbean classics. Students were treated to Patties, Jerk Chicken, Brown Stew Chicken, Vegetable Plates, Curried Chicken, and Vita Coco for five straight days.
York Castle High School has a storied Robotics program, having won Evergo Jamaica’s secondary schools’ robotics competition in 2022.
