Our company mission of taking the taste of the Caribbean to the world continues –  this time with Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant being the sole food sponsor for the Amazon Music and Friends in the Desert secret Coachella after-party, held at the luxurious Laguna Seca Estates in the California Desert on April 15, 2023.

As you will see in this BTS recap reel, Executive Chef Ryan Cross and the Golden Krust Marketing team brought the authentic flavor of Jamaica 3,000 miles across the USA with our grab-and-go classics offerings of beef, chicken, and vegetable patties with coco bread. We brought more heat to the desert with our spicy jerk chicken – fresh off the grill – served with cornbread and tropical salsa. The feedback (and palpable excitement) from those familiar with Golden Krust was refreshing. The reception from first-timers was incredible. “I love Jamaican food now,” exclaimed a young security guard at the end of the clip; it was love at first bite.

Amazon Music partnered with the Creative Arts Agency and LA-based DJ sound system Donavan’s Yard to host this star-studded event with celebs like Damian Lillard, Lil Nas X, Teyana Taylor, A Boogie, and Flo Milli enjoying high-energy performances from new artists PinkPanthress, and Tokischa.
