GK White Plains Gives Out 400 Meals
As part of our 35 Years: 35 Deeds Campaign, Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant is giving back to the communities that have made our 35 years of success possible. As most of our restaurants are owned by Franchisees, these are small business owners giving back to their customers and communities.
On Sunday, November 24th, White Plains Franchisee, Charmaine Golding, provided 400 free meals to the White Plains community. Guests who visited the location prior to the day of the event were able to pick up a ticket (free of charge) to come back on Sunday for a free meal. Meal options included Brown Stewed Turkey, BBQ Chicken, Escovitch Fish, and a Vegetarian meal. In attendance to show support for the event was Greenburgh Councilwoman Gina Jackson.
